ABSTRACT
This study investigates the effectiveness of coaching leadership in the education area. The study is to construct the sub-dimensions (direction, accountability, relationship) of coaching leadership, job satisfaction, organization commitment, and turnover intention. To accomplish the purpose of this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 200 working members of the school in Gyeongnam province and Pusan in Korea, and collected 185cases and verified the hypotheses through SPSS and AMOS analysis with final data of 163. As a result, coaching leadership that constructs sub-dimensions of development, evaluation and relationship are positively linked with satisfaction and organization commitment. However, job satisfaction is not linked with turnover intention. Organizational commitment has a negative influence on turnover intention. These results suggested that coaching is a new and effective leadership style that influence members of a school's attitude or organization performance. Therefore, this paper provided practical implications for CEOs and managers of organizations including schools.
