Abstract



A Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Use Biometrics in Payment Services

    Abstract

    The base of the research model is UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and we added transaction convenience, benefit convenience, perceived mobility, perceived security, personal innovativeness, and perceived compatibility as the predecessors of performance expectancy and effort expectancy. The study conducted a survey targeting high school students, university students, and ordinary citizens for the empirical analysis. According to the results from 18 hypotheses tested by structural equation model, 14 hypotheses were accepted and 4 hypotheses were rejected.
