Aim and Scope

Humans take in so much information every day. As more fake information is available these days than ever before, it is important to find out what the correct information is. Because fake information is packaged in various forms, it's very difficult to figure out which information is fake. If artificial intelligence technology can be used to identify and exclude fake information, then humans will be more likely to use more accurate information. In this special issue, we're looking at a study of techniques that use artificial intelligence to detect fake information.
