Aim and Scope

Multimedia is the most important tool used in human expression. It also plays an important role in the communication between humans and machines. With advances in artificial intelligence technology, multimedia is gaining renewed attention as the most important tool for providing machine-processed data for human understanding. By using multimedia properly, humans can enter accurate commands to the machine, and the machine can show the results of processing the data to human understanding. This special issue is designed to study the interaction and complement of artificial intelligence and multimedia technologies.
