ABSTRACT
Test standards and methods for evaluating the immunity performance of automotive electrical component by signal sources originating from portable devices such as radio / mobile phones / WiFi used in vehicles are specified in the standard of ISO11452-9 issued by the International Organization for Standardization This study aims to describe the development of dipole antennas on a frequency band of 26.5MHz, 27.5 MHz, 28.5 MHz, and 29.5 MHz among the frequencies corresponding to the standard are described. The antenna offered under the current standard is a normal mode monopole-type helical antenna. This class of antenna fails to generate desired electric fields due to changes in resonance frequency and radiation patterns influenced by the setup and the surrounding ground. To solve these problems, we developed a folded dipole antenna with less influence by the surrounding environment.
