ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceived quality of the Hospital Information System (HIS) among doctors and nurses using it, and to examine the effect of these perceptions on user satisfaction and performance. A total of 230 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Reliability analysis, frequency analysis, and structural model analysis were performed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results of this study are as follows. The accuracy of the HIS information quality showed a significant positive effect on satisfaction, but timeliness did not have a significant effect on satisfaction. The security, convenience, and reliability of the HIS quality had significant positive effects on satisfaction. Additionally, satisfaction with the HIS had a significant positive effect on personal performance and hospital performance. Finally, personal performance had a significant positive effect on hospital performance. These results provide implications for the efficient design and application of hospital information processing systems in the rapidly changing medical environment.
