    Abstract

Distributed Generation (DG) within the type of Renewable Power Generation systems is presently most popular for clean power generation. but thanks to their intermittent and unpredictable nature, energy storage must be accustomed make sure that the load is met in any respect times. Renewable distributed energy resources (DERs) can play an oversized role within the future energy infrastructure as a result of benefits like lower carbon imprints, lower fuel prices, and reduced power flows on transmission lines. Energy storage systems (ESSs) area unit sanctioning technologies for well-established and new applications like power peak shaving, electrical vehicles, integration of renewable energies, etc.The main objective of this project is to introduce a superconducting fault current electric circuit to stay the energy storage system from disconnecting the grid once ground faults occur. The simulation results area unit obtained exploitation MATLAB/SIMULINK software package..
